The Amateur courses are for everyone: adults, teenagers and children. It provides the opportunity to approach the circus world and to learn the various disciplines in a fun and direct way, in order to improve one’s own inner balance and physical tonicity.
With a specially developed program, even the smallest (3-5 years old) will be able to get closer to this wonderful art form! A leap into the world of circus through juggling and balance to transmit to the mini-artists the passion for circus, with a particular attention to the motor and emotional development of young students.
Juggling and balancing disciplines with acrobatics are fascinating instruments to get into the wonderful world of circus. The course provides two lessons per week of one hour. On request, the course frequency can be increased.
This course is designed for children who want to cling to the aerial fabrics. Young people will be able to use this fascinating equipment thanks to the use of legs and arms; with the development of concentration, coordination and balance, they will be able to perform increasingly complex, spectacular and fanciful movements, arriving precisely to aerial acrobatics. They too will have the opportunity at the end of the year to present a performance in front of an audience during the end-of-year shows.
Activity dedicated to teenagers, it naturally follows and deepens the circus classes dedicated to children (6-12 years). It puts at the base of the work learning by having fun, and mental and physical improvement through disciplines such as juggling, acrobatics, hand-to-hand (couple acrobatics), and balance, offered in three weekly courses. In a context of a group and sharing, growing individually is one of the strong points of this activity, which come to be reinforced later at the end-of-the-year show in front of a “real audience”.
A different and original way of doing physical activity, to acquire skill and knowledge of one’s own body while also stimulating creativity and imagination. In circus, each discipline acquires a fragile and imaginary character after having gone through technique and sacrifice; aerial disciplines, the Chinese pole and hand-to-hand (partner acrobatics) are useful tools for strengthening one’s self-esteem, developing self-confidence and trust in others, overcoming one’s own limits and hidden fears. Students are also given the opportunity to perform on stage what they experienced during the course.
The course is dedicated to the learning of both pre-acrobatics and more complex movements, through exercises performed in a gymnastics gym, to get out of the daily routine. A physical activity that helps to recover the ability to move with agility in an original way, different from the usual, and not traditional.
A course to learn the basic technique or to improve upon more advanced figures according to each person’s own technical level. The discipline of balancing on the hands combines strength, lightness, flexibility and great coordination. It is at the base of all acrobatic activities. During the course technical elements and figures with two arms will be studied and proposed; and for those who want it, they will begin to learn handstands with one arm, without forgetting a specific physical preparation work to provide the necessary means for the technical study.

It generates a social development process with an artistic prospective. Within this space of fun, training, rules, points of reference, and values of social importance are transmitted such as solidarity, respect and trust. These promote a better social integration and facilitate team work. Ultimately, circus becomes a tool of socialization and education of primary importance. This work methodology, in other words, facilitates the creation of a process of self-esteem, which allows young people to follow with greater ease the professional path as artists, supervisors and finally as citizens.
The programming of workshop activities is customized according to the requirements and requests of the institutions themselves.
