June 28-29, 2025

Spazio FLIC – International Center for Circus Arts, in collaboration with Bunker, Via Niccolò Paganini 0/200, Turin.

The fourth edition of the Oscillante Festival, scheduled from June 26 to 28, promises an immersive experience featuring swinging trapeze performances, site-specific circus creations, multimedia installations, and live music. Guiding the audience through the events will be an ironic and engaging host, capable of connecting the various festival experiences with lightness and creating a narrative thread throughout the event.

International artists will gather in Turin to bring to life a captivating evening OUTDOOR CABARET, accompanied by a trio of musicians and the versatile actor and comedian Francesco Giorda. Suspended beneath the starry sky, some of the finest contemporary performers of swinging trapeze, flying rope, and Korean cradle will perform: Alizé Poitreau, Alexia Medesan, Costanza Bernotti, Federica Pini Sandrelli and Ivan Morales Ruiz, Jean-Baptiste Perusin and Lola Cahen, Martina Salza, Román Prado Dìaz, Vassiliki Rossillion, Luis Roldan, and Inès Maccario.

Among the highlights of this edition is also CurtainCall by Lisa Rinne, an award-winning German artist and silver medalist at the 33rd edition of the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris. Accompanied by musician and circus artist Andreas Bartl, the piece intertwines swinging trapeze, Chinese pole, and vertical dance through a metaphorical and contemporary artistic language.

The Bunker spaces will be transformed through a series of site-specific performances specially created by Roberto Magro and Erika Bettin, performed by the emerging artists of the FLIC Circus School in Turin. Entitled IN SITU, these performances will bring contemporary circus into close contact with the audience.

Alongside these events, inside Spazio FLIC a multimedia and performative exhibition environment called “SPAZIO VIVO” (Living Space) will be created, designed to immerse visitors in a dreamlike and sensory universe.

On Sunday at 6 pm, there will be a talk open to all, exploring the evolution of aerial circus arts and the relationship between physical experience, performers and the audience.

On Sunday at 6:00 p.m., everyone is invited to attend a talk exploring the evolution of aerial circus arts and the relationship between physical experience, performers, and the audience.

As in previous editions, the audience will also have the opportunity to safely experience swinging trapeze through classes scheduled from June 15 to 20, led by qualified instructors and open to all levels. A rare opportunity to personally experience a fascinating and unconventional circus discipline.

Every evening, at the end of the Cabaret, the trio composed of Gregorio Busatto (drums), Paolo Forte (accordion), and Sara Giora Bassanelli (vocals) will accompany the audience with a “musical farewell,” turning the close of the day into an informal and festive moment shared with the artists and students of the FLIC Circus School.
The festival area will also feature street food by Slurp!, ice cream by Ottimo!, and the Bunker cocktail bar, offering the audience the chance to fully enjoy the event experience in a convivial and pleasant atmosphere.

The aerial picture, their place, a central point, is the basis of their imagination.

Above, they tell a set of everyday stories, changing emotions and feelings of freedom and flight, full of adrenaline. Through acrobatics, they share with us their world and their point of view, in a workshop of suspended body states…

GRAVIR
LES QUAT'FERS EN L'AIR

They are a duo of acrobats ready for anything to climb the highest peaks, but climate change has melted the snow and all that remains is the skeleton of this huge mountain. Why rush to want to climb if you always end up descending again?
It is a mystery that can be solved by savoring the pleasure of acrobatics in a brief moment of weightlessness.

L’EQUILIBRIO DEL CAOS
FLIC

Chaos is not always an enemy. Sometimes, it is in the apparent disorder that the most profound transformations are born. Five trapeze artists and five acrobats move between heaven and earth, inhabiting aerial structures that sway, vibrate, defy gravity. Their performance is an unstable dance, a continuous chase for balance, tested by a chaos that bursts, shakes, confuses. But it is right there, in the heart of the confusion, that something surprising happens. Between swinging bodies and falls that become leaps, a powerful metaphor takes shape: life itself. For we, like them, try to stay balanced as everything changes, shifts, collapses and reassembles. And in those moments that seem dark is often hidden the spark of a new beginning, the possibility of seeing previously unthinkable horizons.
