From April 18 to 23, 2026, FLIC Circus School is hosting in Turin the first creative meeting of the project “Punti di Partenza – the new scene of contemporary Italian circus,” an initiative dedicated to the development of young contemporary circus artists.
Conceived and coordinated by Dinamica APS together with FLIC Circus School, in collaboration with Muja Buskers Festival and Terminal Festival, the project was created with the aim of building a bridge between training and production, offering young artists the opportunity to develop their ideas in a professional and collaborative environment.
“Punti di Partenza” is part of a multi-year collaboration between the school and the partner festivals, designed to support students throughout their journey from training to creation and performance.
The program involves the selection of a group of students who will develop a single artistic project through a step-by-step process between FLIC and the partner festivals, in continuity with the school’s training path and with a clear professional goal of approaching the stage. The creative process is guided by director and artist Riccardo Strano and also includes mentoring sessions under the supervision of FLIC Circus School’s curator of artistic and cultural projects, Giovanna Milano.
The stage hosted by FLIC represents the beginning of the creative process, which will continue in the following months with further meetings in Udine, Muggia, and Reggio Emilia, along with performance opportunities within the participating festivals.
The project “Punti di Partenza – the new scene of contemporary Italian circus” is supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture (MiC) and SIAE, as part of the program “Per Chi Crea.” “Punti di Partenza” is conceived and coordinated by Dinamica APS together with FLIC Circus School, in collaboration with Muja Buskers Festival and Terminal Festival.
