GIACCUA
Filippo Seziani
In a place that it does not recognize and that does not seem to recognize it, a figure moves through an unstable reality, suspended between the familiar and the unfamiliar. It is easy to live like a ghost, to remain on the margins, to observe without being seen, to find in silence a form of protection. Fragments of childhood and ambiguous presences emerge like restless signals. What should be reassuring cracks, giving way to a constant tension that runs through the body even before the mind. In the attempt to adapt, a form of armor takes shape, ultimately leading to isolation. Identity fractures and recomposes itself in a fragile way, while an open question remains: does a safe place truly exist, or is it merely a necessary construction for survival?

CORPS À CORDES
Katell Boudrandi-Saj
She is there, in front of us. And suddenly she begins to dance, as if her body remembered a waltz that her memory had erased.
The hemp ropes, worn by time, sketch an aesthetic of shipwreck. The sound of the wind, a silent accomplice, slips through the fibers, makes the ropes vibrate, and rocks us with an uncertain melody, suspended between memory and present time. We imagine the hands that held the ropes before us, the bodies that clung to them, the stories they might tell if they could.
In this landscape of taut ropes, the body in turn becomes a wreck balanced in space, searching for support, for a counterweight.

UTOIÆ
Angel Villa
A stage, a story to tell. But what better story to reach the audience than the story of themselves? Mother Nature welcomes the human being, teaching them to live in harmony with the world. Yet the spark of curiosity guides humankind toward an untouched island floating in the air, a jewel of peace and beauty. There, with unaware hands, they begin to leave their mark: a trail of waste that suffocates life. The island, once a paradise for birds, transforms into a cemetery of plastic, a silent lament against human greed. Mother Nature, heartbroken, watches helplessly as the nature around her fades away— a sorrowful echo of our impact on the world. A poetic warning, a cry of alarm, a denunciation of the fragility of natural balance and the urgent need for radical change.

In a not that distant future, in which our world as we know it today is on the brink of collapse, we consider two women, G and F. Their timid rebellion against the fact of imminent doom consists of doing what they do best after years of ambitious practice: living.
A collection of their stories, which originate in the love to absurdity, tragedy, and a great zest for life, is presented here today. It is a first glimpse into the beginnings of what will later on be developed into a full-length indoor show, explored in this first joint residency as part of the Surreale Project.
